At the time of the visit there was building work going on which we were not told about which reduced the facilities available and started work at 07:00 each morning. Rooms are noisy as you can hear noise from the corridor and rooms above and to the side. Not to the usual modern Nordic sound proofing standards. Rooms are also very small. Plus points are the staff are very good and the location is excellent.

We travelled to Copenhagen for a wedding with 6 friends. Stayed in the suite and everyone had standard double rooms. This hotel was nothing short of amazing. Absolutely perfect and couldn’t recommend enough. The suite was beautiful and so were the guest rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the location of the hotel was fantastic The hotel staff went above and beyond to provide the best service possible, and to make our wedding special. No request was too much for the Phoenix and the staff were unbelievably accommodating. They truly made us feel special during our wedding, I have never received better service from a hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful in appearance, breakfast was delicious and had a great spread Cannot fault this hotel and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on their special day or just a lovely place to relax in during a trip to the beautiful city of Copenhagen

The hotel is very well situated near lots of restaurants and Nyhavn. Easy access to all the places to see including « la petite sirène » The room has a modern decor The mattress is comfortable The staff is really amazing and helpful No breakfast

A beautiful old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen, near to Nyhavn, Amalienborg and easy walk to the metro. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very professional, and went out of their way to provide excellent service. My only disappointment was that the room was advertised as having a bathtub, but this was not the case.
